This is as ready as I am able to get the bike, a 2008 Kawasaki 1400GTR bought new in July 2007 in hope of gaining a starting position in the 2009 Iron Butt Rally. I have crossed Australia twice on it so far and at time of shipping it will have 48,000klms on it, all touring klms no commuting. This bike has been purpose built for the rally and other long distance rides.
It is Sunday the 24th May as I create this page, I have to ride 1100klms south leaving midnight Tuesday to Sydney NSW where on Thursday morning it gets placed into the shipping container heading to the US at Portland OR. I will fly over on the 13th August and start the adventure of a lifetime.
